PURPOSE: An interruptible power supply apparatus having a power supply monitoring function is provided to prevent an interruption of a factory processor by detecting a disorder of a power supply section and a discharge of a battery power supply and generating a corresponding alarm signal. CONSTITUTION: A converter converts an input alternating current power into a direct current power. A battery supplies a power supply to a random terminal when an electric current is off. An inverter converts the direct current power into an alternating current power. A static switch performs a random switch to a bypass line when a disorder is generated in the inverter. A control sequence section controls a static transformer. An operation state detector detects whether first and second power supply sections are normally operated. A monitor switch monitors a charge and a discharge of the battery. A sequence and alarm section generates an alarm signal when disorders are generated in the first and second power supply sections. A sequence and alarm section(20) is connected to an operation incapability detector and a battery power supply detector. When a first power supply and a second power supply are abnormally operated and a battery is discharged, the sequence and alarm section(20) generates an alarm signal. A first light emitting diode(D0) and a second light emitting diode(D1) are lighted when the first power supply and the second power supply are abnormally operated. When the battery is discharged, the third light emitting diode(D2) is lighted. When the first power supply and the second power supply are abnormally operated and the battery is discharged, a buzzer(27) generates an alarm signal.
