APPARATUS FOR AUTOMATICALLY ATTACHING PAPER THIMBLE FOR PREVENTING END MARKS OF COIL TYPE COLD STRIP

PURPOSE: An apparatus for automatically attaching a paper thimble for preventing end marks of a coil type cold strip is provided to substantially improve working efficiency and productivity by automatically attaching the paper thimble suppressing generation of end marks due to thickness difference of the strip. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for automatically attaching a paper thimble for preventing end marks of a coil type cold strip comprises a support plate(109) that is installed at the upper side of a magnet table on which the strip is proceeded with the support plate(109) being parallel to and spaced apart from the magnet table in a certain distance; a vacuum pad(101) which is installed on the lower surface of one side of the support plate(109) so that the vacuum pad(101) is tilted by an air cylinder(106); a vacuum pad(102) elastically installed with being spaced apart from the vacuum pad(101) in a certain distance; a roller table(103) which is arranged on the same line as the vacuum pad(102) so that they are not interfered with each other, and which is ascended or descended by a plurality of air cylinders(107); a guide roll(104) which is adjacently installed to the roller table(103) to guide the proceeding strip, and which is ascended or descended by an air cylinder(108); an approach sensor(105) which is installed at the outer side of the vacuum pad(101) to sense the front of the strip; and air cylinders(110,111) which are fixed to one side end of the support plate(109) to ascend or descend and rotationally drive the support plate(109).
