PURPOSE: A very-low speed piston valve of a shock absorber is provided to improve the durability of a piston valve by installing a backup slit disk between a multi-plate very-low speed disk and a main disk. CONSTITUTION: A backup slit disk(24) is installed between a multi-plate very-low speed disk(23) and a main disk(25). Slits are formed on the backup slot disk. The diameter of the backup slit disk is larger than that of the very-low speed disk, and is smaller than that of the main disk. A very-low speed piston valve(20) compresses the fluid in a compressing chamber(4) by moving along the inside a cylinder tube(2). The fluid flows into a compressing path(28) of a body(21). The pressure of the fluid pushes the main disk. The main disk is supported on the backup slit disk. Therefore, the deformation of the main disk is avoided.
