<p>PURPOSE: A device for treating sewage/wastewater is provided, which is characterized in that filter media is packed in piled plastic boxes. CONSTITUTION: The device comprises several piled up boxes which has many holes at the bottom for introduction of sewage and wastewater from the top box(13a,) into bottom box(15); filter media packed in the boxes except the bottom in which sand is packed; storage tanks(14,16) in which filtrated sewage/wastewater is stored; a pump(11) which introduces filtrated sewage/wastewater from the storage tank into the top box; sprinklers(12a,12b) which sprays inlet water from pump to the top box. The number of boxes is 6 and microorganisms are cultivated in filter medium. One or more structures is connected each other by pump.</p> |
