PURPOSE: A device for preventing inflow of water for automobile is provided to prevent water from flowing into a car room to maximize an air passage formed on a lower part of a cowl top cover. CONSTITUTION: A water detective sensor(18) is installed on one side of an air passage(12) formed under a cowl top cover(10) and is connected with an electronic control unit(ECU). An actuator(11) is placed on the air passage to be operated by the ECU(19) receiving detective signal of the water detective sensor. The cowl top cover is opened and closed by the actuator. The actuator is a hydraulic cylinder selectively supplied with hydraulic pressure by a hydraulic pressure tank(16). A hydraulic pressure valve(14) is placed on a connection pipe(15) connecting the hydraulic cylinder and the hydraulic pressure tank(16) to be controlled by the ECU. Pressure of the hydraulic cylinder is controlled by a pressure controller(13) to control opening degree of the cowl top cover according to amount of water flowing into the cowl top cover.
