VACUUM REFRIGERATOR

PURPOSE: A vacuum refrigerator is provided to prevent oxidation of stored food by discharging air to keep a food storage chamber in vacuum. CONSTITUTION: A vacuum refrigerator includes a vacuum chamber(30); a vacuum pump(40); and a control device. The vacuum chamber is placed on a cold air passage(1) and has a space part to place food therein. The vacuum pump discharges air in the vacuum chamber. The control device controls the vacuum pump to keep vacuum of the vacuum chamber fixed. The control device includes a low pressure recognizing pressure switch(51); and a high pressure recognizing pressure switch(52). The low pressure recognizing pressure switch stops the vacuum pump when vacuum in the vacuum chamber is lower than preset minimum pressure. The high pressure recognizing pressure switch drives the vacuum pump when vacuum in the vacuum chamber is higher than preset maximum pressure.
