<p>The invention relates to a strip for doors, windows or the like. The hinge component of the frame strip component (10, 10') or the leaf strip component (20, 20') is provided with a cross-sectional surface which is smaller than the cross-sectional surface of the other strip component in such a way that the outer circumference of the cross-section pertaining to the first strip component is smaller than the circumference of the cross-section pertaining to the other strip component at least in the direction of adjustment. Furthermore, at least one covering sleeve (40) is provided which at least partially encompasses the hinge component of the at least one strip component. Said sleeve can be fixed in relation to the at least one other strip component. The inner cross-sectional surface of the covering sleeve (40) is dimensioned in such a way that a gap (43) remains between the inner lateral surface (42) thereof and the outer circumference (16) of the surrounding hinge component. The width of the gap is at least as great as the path of adjustment. Adjustment of said strip is possible without an externally visible mismatch of the strip components in relation to each other.</p> |
