Herein are depicted L-valilamides and L-homovalilamides of 7alpha-amine-1, 1-dioxo-3-cephem of formula (I), the process for obtaining them and the pharmaceutical compositions containing them. The previous compounds are actives in chronic bronchitis, emphysema, acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS), cystic fibrosis and rheumatoid arthritis.
