PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an injection needle safety device usable for an injector made of glass and capable of utilizing an existing injector. SOLUTION: This injection needle safety device 20 is composed of the material of a kind different from the glass and used by being attached to the existing injector 10 made of the glass. The injection needle safety device 20 is composed of an inner cylinder 21 provided with opening parts 21a and 21b and an outer cylinder 31 provided with the opening parts 31a and 31b, and the inner cylinder 21 is provided with engaging pawls 23, 23 to be engaged with a flange part 6 provided on the barrel 2 of the injector 10. The body part 22 of the inner cylinder 21 is extended from the engaging pawls 23, 23 in the direction of the tip of the barrel 2. The outer cylinder 31 is slidable in the direction of the tip of the barrel 2 along the body part 22 of the inner cylinder 21 and is engaged with the body part 22 of the inner cylinder 21 at the position of completely housing the injection needle 11 mounted on the injector 10. The inner cylinder 21 is provided with a flange 24 to be the flange for a finger. |
