PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optimum speed display device for vehicle capable of properly adjusting the traveling speed of a vehicle so that an excellent fuel consumption can be provided by accurately and instantaneously recognizing an optimum speed varying according to road conditions. SOLUTION: This optimum speed display device for vehicle comprises a speed sensor 3 for detecting a traveling speed, a distance calculation part 15 for calculating a mileage for each specified time based on the speed data from the speed sensor 3, a flow sensor 4 for detecting a fuel consumption amount, a fuel consumption calculation part 16 for calculating a fuel consumption for each specified time based on the mileage data from the distance calculation part 15 and the fuel consumption amount data from the flow sensor 4, an optimum speed calculation part 17 for calculating an optimum speed based on the fuel consumption data from the fuel consumption calculation part 16 and speed data corresponding to the fuel consumption data, and a display panel 12 for displaying the optimum speed calculated by the optimum speed calculation part 17.
