PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing the iron sintered ore by which heavy volatile components in which the number of C is >=10 contained in an exhaust gas, and which becomes a problem when anthracite is used by >=1.0% in a blending raw material as a fuel can be reduced. SOLUTION: Anthracite in which the mass ratio between a fixed carbon component and volatile components (a fixed carbon component/volatile components) is >=4.0 is added in >=1.0 mass% by a blending amount to produce the iron sintered ore. In this production method, the blending amount of limonite ores containing crystallization water of >=5.0 mass% is >=50 mass% in the total ore.
