A method for manufacturing a disk with the aid of which at least one optical record carrier is fabricated, which method comprises the following steps: providing a light-sensitive layer on a plate which is to form the disk; determining an exposure program of areas to be exposed and not to be exposed, on the basis of a desired pattern of consecutive pits and lands on the record carrier; exposing the light-sensitive layer according to the exposure program, while for each area to be exposed, the exposure is partly determined on the basis of the length of areas not to be exposed adjacent to the area to be exposed. |
