PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminated compound material that has a lightweight makes the base material layer made from carbide, has a higher mechanical strength and is excellent in design and surface for decorating, and can especially make use of scrapped glasses, oyster shells and the like usefully as the raw materials. SOLUTION: The laminated compound material comprises the base material layer A in plate form that is bound together from granulated carbide 1, 1 made of wood, bamboo and the like with bonding agent 3, having physical voids left in it, and a covering layer B in plate form that is integrated with at least a single-side surface of the base layer A through kneading and solidifying a number of inorganic granulated materials 4 with the bonding agent 3. The covering layer B is also a surface reinforcement layer, because of its mechanical strength higher than that of the base material layer A.
