PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slip resistant sole capable of tightly grasping a floor surface by breaking a water film or oil film, if any, on the floor surface without having deformation of block design. SOLUTION: A tread part of this sole comprises rubber, polyvinyl chloride, and polyurethane having hardness of 54-62 (JIS-A 20 deg.C), its thickness at the thinnest part is 1 mm or more and 4 mm or less, and the form of a tread surface of the tread part (outside) of the sole comprises separate blocks of polygonal or circular form. These are collected to form the pattern of the whole body of the sole, and it comprises a double layer sole comprising the tread part (outsole) and an insole or a mid-sole having such a hardness equal to or more than that of tread part (outsole) that the block design has enough strength to be hard to be dented or fall.
