PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article which has the similar appearance and performance to those of thermosetting plastics, by using a pulverized keratin fiber as the raw material. SOLUTION: The article is obtained by using such a substance that the powder and/or pulverizate of a keratin fiber such as wool, animal hair, down or feather is used as the raw material and a diisocyanate or aldehyde compound is added as a crosslinker to this raw material and furthermore a polyethylene oxide is additionally added to this mixture, and then by heating and pressing it in a metal mold.
