<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of a clearance between articles in two right and left rows to be loaded on a load-carrying platform by arranging them in the forward and backward directions even for trucks having different widths of load-carrying platforms so as to prevent the articles from falling off during transportation. SOLUTION: A cargo loading system is provided with work carriers 6 on both sides of the truck 3 capable of running along both right and left sides of the load- carrying platform 3a and a carrier control means 60 controlling these work carriers 6. In this cargo loading system, articles W are loaded by the work carriers 6 corresponding from both sides so that the articles are arranged in two right and left rows and along the forward and backward directions on the load-carrying platform 3a of the truck 3. The carrier control means 60 controls the cargo loading operation of the work carriers 6 as follows. Among the articles W to be arranged on the right and left sides on the load-carrying platform 3a, the articles W in series on a reference side are first positioned at predetermined positions above the load-carrying platform 3a. After that, the articles W in series on a subordinate side are brought into contact with the articles W on the reference side positioned previously to position in the right and left directions.</p> |
