PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently reduce noise in a high frequency zone of a compressor for a car room air conditioner as vibration in the axial direction of a rotation axis 6 is transmitted to a hub 71. SOLUTION: This device is furnished with a coupling 7 constituted by elastically connecting the hub 71 mounted on the rotation axis 6 and an outer ring 72 mounted on an armature 5 by a coupling rubber part 73a of a rubber type elastic body 73, and the hub 71 is supported on the rotation axis 6 free to relatively displace in the axial direction through mount parts 73c, 73f continuously formed as a part of the rubber type elastic body 73. A resonance region in the axial direction of a spring-mass system by the mount parts 73c, 73f against this hub 71 as well as the hub 71 is set less than 600 Hz. Consequently, transmission of vibration in the axial direction from the rotation axis 6 to the hub 71 is reduced in the region of more than 600 Hz.
