PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low lift truck having a sub-step with a mounting structure facilitating assembly. SOLUTION: The sub-step 1 provided in this low lift truck is provided with an oscillatingly movable step plate 2, a horizontal supporting shaft 3 passing through a base end part 2a in the step plate 2 and serving as an oscillation center, shaft supporting members 4 and 4 individually supporting the shaft end parts of the horizontal supporting shaft 3 protruded to both sides from the base end part 2a of the step plate 2, and elastic members 5 and 5 fitted around the horizontal supporting shaft 3 and arranged between the base end part 2a of the step plate 2 and the shaft supporting members 4 and 4 for oscillating the step plate 2 upward. On the outside face of a vehicle body 22, holding members 6 and 6 are positioned and arranged for receiving and holding the shaft supporting members 4 and 4, and the holding members 6 and 6 and the supporting members 4 and 4 for the sub-step 1 are connected mutually.
