PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a heating apparatus enabling to cook similar to charcoal fire by high-temperature heating, achieving shortening of a cooking time and efficiently using the heat source and easy to handle. SOLUTION: This heating apparatus is configured by installing infrared ray lamps arranged to irradiate a stand for mounting the objective substance of heating and having a plate-like heating element formed from a carbonaceous substance, installing a transparent heat-resistant glass between the stand and the infrared ray lamps arranged so as to incline and arranging a saucer in the vicinity to the end of the lower side of the heat-resistant glass so as to collect scattered substances by flowing along the heat-resistant glass.
