BUNDLE PACKAGING APPARATUS AND DUMMY BUNDLE APPLIED TO THE APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bundle packaging apparatus wherein whether a bundle is packaged well can be correctly and automatically determined and efficiency in processing of the apparatus can be improved. SOLUTION: The bundle packaging apparatus has an inspection section 30 for inspecting a package F comprising a predetermined number of bundles of paper pieces which are collected and packaged with a film. The inspection section 30 has a plurality of conveyer rollers 31 for carrying the package F, a cross table 33 for raising upward the package F on the rollers 31 and an optical sensor 36 for sensing the hanging of a corner of the package F which has been mounted on the table 33 and raised. A package F' whose hanging has been sensed via the sensor 36 is determined to be eliminated as a package having a loosely tightened film and is returned onto the conveyer rollers 31. Thereafter, it is discharged by a pusher out of the rollers 31.
