PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an expanded net having an improved performance, as a whole, wherein shock-absorbing functions can be enhanced, without disregarding air-permeability or necessary shock-absorbing properties can be obtained, while air-permeability is being ensured. SOLUTION: In a reticulate expanded net, wherein a plurality of expanded strands s1, s2 intersect each other so that the strands s1, s2 are welded to each other at an intersection k, either or both of a segment L1 connecting a welding point u of the strands s1, s2 and the centroid g1 of the cross section of the strand s1 and a segment L2 connecting the point u and the centroid g2 of the cross section of the strand s2 are inclined with respect to the surface 2 of the reticulate net.
