PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a developing character of an air bag. SOLUTION: A foundation 23 which is smaller than each of first and second foundations 21 and 22 consisting an outer shell is arranged between the first and second foundations 21 and 22. The third foundation 23 covers a gas introducing opening 28 formed to the first foundation 21, and is sewed to the first foundation 21 at four annular joining parts 33, thereby forming a communication passage 34 in which a gas flows between the joining parts 33. A part surrounded by the two joining parts 33 is formed with a exhaust port 35 which opens to an outside of the air bag 1. The third foundation 23 and the second foundation 22 are connected to each other via a strap 41. A base point 43a of the strap 41 is arranged at a part facing the communication passage 34 between the joining parts 33. The strap 41 regulates a projecting size of the air bag 1 and extends the communication passage 34. |
