PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an imaging apparatus employing a plurality of lasers in which overshoot and undershoot of laser output are lessened. SOLUTION: When a laser 62 is lighted and then a laser 63 is lighted, overshoot and undershoot emerge in the emission waveform of the laser 62. It is measured by a crosstalk measuring unit 90 and the results are delivered to an imaging section 88. The imaging section 88 controls a current source 68 by regulating a control value Vref 22 and increases the bias current from IB1 to IB2. A current source 65 is controlled such that a specified quantity of light Pa can be obtained even if the bias current is altered and the switching current is reduced from Is1 to Is2. When the laser 62 is lighted and then the laser 63 is lighted under a state where the switching current is reduced, overshoot and undershoot are suppressed greatly.
