ROTARY ATOMIZING HEAD TYPE COATING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the falling and scattering of a rotary atomizing head from a rotary shaft to enhance reliability. SOLUTION: A loosening preventing means 9 is provided to the attaching shaft part 2 of a rotary shaft 1 and the attaching cylindrical part 7 of the rotary atomizing head 4. The loosening preventing means 9 is constituted of the male screw part 10 formed at the leading end of the attaching shaft part 2, the female screw part 11 formed at the deep part of the attaching shaft part 2 and the O-rings 14 and 15 fitted in the ring fitting grooves 12 and 13 formed on the outer periphery of the attaching shaft part 2. When the rotary atomizing head 4 is threaded with the rotary shaft 1, the O-rings 14 and 15 are held between the attaching shaft part 2 and the attaching cylindrical part 7 while deformed elastically and the rotation in the loosening direction of the rotary atomizing head 4 can be prevented by the friction force thereof.
