PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide discoloring equipment providing a large thermally discolored image, easy to handle and inexpensive in connection with discoloring equipment capable of providing a desired thermally discolored image by contacting the thermally discoloring layer of a thermally discoloring object. SOLUTION: Discoloring equipment 1 is comprised of a synthetic resin container 2 having an opening 21 at the bottom, and a metal bottom wall member 3 blocking the opening 21 of the container 2 and projecting outward of the container 2. The bottom wall member 3 has a plane contact portion 31 capable of contacting the thermal discoloring layer. The container 2 can directly store a heating medium 5 such as a warm water, cold water, ice pieces or the like.
