PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration control device for a seismically isolated structure, which has a simplified composition and suits the miniaturization and cost reduction thereof, and whose performance can be stably maintained for a long time. SOLUTION: This vibration control device is provided with a second disc 5 for vibration control, which is laminated for disposition so as to be free to rotate relatively upon a central axis of a first disc 3 for vibration control, a friction pad 9 for damping, which is mounted between the discs 3 and 5 so as to convert rotational energy during the relative rotation of the discs 3 and 5 to friction energy by sliding friction with either of the discs 3 and 5, a first coupling member 11 for coupling the disc 3 to a first structure, and a second coupling member 13 for coupling a position separated from the center of the rotation of the disc 5 to a second structure for the purpose of converting tensile force and compressive force, which act on a section between the first and second structures, to the relative rotational motion of the discs 3 and 5.
