PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a vinyl-chloride based resin composition, capable of lowering hydrogen chloride gas generating in a fire and burning, and excellent in mechanical strength and moldability. SOLUTION: The vinyl-chloride based resin composition is composed of a vinyl-chloride based resin and a cubic calcium carbonate. Preferably, the average particle diameter of the cubic calcium carbonate is 0.2μm or below and the BET specific surface area is 10 m2/g or below. A plasticizing agent can be contained further.
