Known high built-in cooking appliances comprise a housing (38) surrounding a muffle and a cooking chamber (32). Said muffle comprises an opening in the bottom thereof, which can be closed by means of a lowerable bottom door (2). In order to reduce the energy consumption of the high built-in cooking appliance, the inventive appliance is embodied in such a way that, when the cooking chamber (32) is closed, an upper side of the bottom door (2) facing the cooking chamber (32) is situated opposite a bottom-side muffle frame, on its front side. |
