PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting tool of simple structure and light weight in which chip generated in accordance with cutting work can be easily recovered, and in which cutting work can be conducted, in cutting the surface of a workpiece having a step part, for example, almost up to the step part. SOLUTION: Plural cutting edge tips 13 are disposed on a tip of a tool body 12 of a cutting tool 11 to be inclined to precede a rotating direction R1 more on the outer side to a radial direction on the same circle. A chip recovering hole 19 for recovering chip is formed at a center part of the tool body 12. As the cutting tool 11 is rotated, chip generated at the part of the cutting edge tip 13 is moved inward by the cutting edge tip 13 as the surface of the workpiece W is cut by the cutting edge tip 13, and it is sucked by a suction air current from the chip recovering hole 19 to be recovered.
