PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure locking, simplify a structure, and improve operability. SOLUTION: In this fixing device of the flip-up seat 1 for a vehicle, two strikers 11 fixed to the car body side and two latch mechanisms disposed on the seat side and having a latch engaging with the striker 11 are arranged in the front and back parts, respectively, two front and back latch mechanisms 12 and 13 are operable by one operating lever 17, and the fixing state of one of the latch mechanisms 12 and 13 is released and then the fixing state of the other is released.
