<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new physical distribution control system convenient and easy to use for both of clients and a transport company, capable of rapidly obtaining whether transport is possible or not, and further efficiently transporting inexpensively, by making it possible to simulate transport of a cargo. SOLUTION: In this system and method, a client inputs information through a network such as the Internet, on a desired arrival date of a cargo, a size of the cargo, destination and the like, so that based on the obtained data, the transport company efficiency groups a plurality of cargoes by the same dispatching destination (city of sending destination) and the desired arrival date, and packs and transports them. With such a structure, the physical distribution control system, and its control method with improved transport efficiency can be realized. For this end, simulation as to whether the transport is possible or not is performed on a computer.</p> |
