PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat elevating/lowering device for a chair with which a user can freely perform the elevating/lowering operation of a seat and the fine adjustment of height while sitting on the seat and whose structure is simpli fied. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a lower frame 10, an upper frame 30 with a seat supported to the lower frame 10 through a pantograph 20 so as to be freely elevated and lowered, and a manual operation mechanism 40 provided on the upper frame 30 and provided with a handle 42 for operating the pantograph 20.
