PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel consumption administering system and a fuel consumption administering method by which a user can judge the quality of the fuel consumption of his automobile. SOLUTION: By an average fuel consumption calculating means 24 according to attributes an average fuel consumption is calculated according to the attributes for each attribute of an automobile based on an average fuel consumption of a plurality of users. By an average fuel consumption calculating means 22, an average fuel consumption of the automobile of the user who wants to use this fuel consumption administering system 1 is calculated. A display means 18 displays the average fuel consumption and the average fuel consumption according to the attributes which corresponds with the attribute of the automobile of the user while comparing them. Thus, the user can judge whether the fuel consumption of his automobile is favorable or not compared with the fuel consumption of the plurality of users.
