PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To record high-quality images having bleeding among specific colors generated by a multipath recording method reduced and a color irregularity prevented in a recorder with two or more kinds of quantities of vertical scanning carried out for every horizontal scanning. SOLUTION: When the number of horizontal scanning times of completing an image by a first discharge opening array for a black ink and by a second discharge opening array for a color ink is respectively (m) (m is a positive integer) and (n) (n is a positive integer), a position of an end of discharge openings used from the upstream side of the vertical scanning is set for the second discharge opening array discharging the color ink, with respect to the first discharge opening array to be equal to a length of a quantity of the vertical scanning by continuous (m+a) times ((a) is a positive integer) with the use of at least two kinds of vertical scanning quantities.
