PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cope with the irregular position of an edge 23a of an interior trim material 23 and prevent the mouth opening or corrugation of a curved portion. SOLUTION: This weather strip 1 comprises an interior trim material lip 4 provided on the side face of a welt portion 2 in approximately U-shaped section inside a vehicle room, extending from a portion close to a top 7 of a leg portion 5 in such a gently curved form as to cover the edge 23a of the interior trim material 23, and an interior trim material abutment portion 11 thinner than the interior trim material lip 4, provided all over between the end of the interior trim material lip 4 and the leg portion 5. In the mounted condition, where the edge 23a pushes the interior trim material abutment portion 11 to the inside, the end 4a of the interior trim material lip 4 is pulled to approach the edge 23a and embrace the edge 23a in three ways. The irregular position of the edge 23a is easily absorbed by the deformation of the interior trim material abutment portion 11 and the mouth opening or corrugation of the interior trim material lip 4 is prevented by the connection with the interior trim material abutment portion 11.
