PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bookbinding kit for manufacturing an original book capable of manufacturing the original book easily by an individual in home at a low cost. SOLUTION: The bookbinding kit for manufacturing the original book comprise a printed sheet for a cover drawn by a cover pattern, a title or the like, a cover core material for a cover sheet, a backbone cover sheet and a back cover sheet, a plurality of printing sheets for a text describing a text or the like, and a plurality of band-like binding tapes each having an adhesive surface protected by a pair of release sheets adhered substantially parallel along a longitudinal direction. Cover sheet members having the cover, the backbone cover and the back cover are formed by adhering the core materials at a prescribed interval to the rear surface of the printing sheet for the cover after printing is finished. A text set openably and closably bound with the printed sheets for the text is formed by adhering the tape along a throat of the printing sheets after the printing and adhering between the tapes. The throat of the set constituted of the tape adhered in a superposed state with each other is held at the member, adhered to bookbind the original book.
