摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excellent thermal transfer film for forming a printing element part on a plate cylinder by transferring a polymer from a donor layer of the film by inducing by a laser beam. SOLUTION: The thermal transfer film or a thermal transfer belt comprises a base layer 1, and the donor layer 2 coating the layer 1. The layer 1 contains at least one polymer substance. The polymer substance has two characteristics of dynamical stability at least at a temperature higher than 150 deg.C and permeability exceeding 70% for a light having a wavelength of 700 to 1,600 nm. The layer 2 comprises a material capable of converting an energy of a light beam of a laser beam 3 to be illuminated into a thermal energy, a polymer having an acid group and/or an amide group substituted from them as needed, and a wet auxiliary material as needed. The polymer substance further contains a polymer having reactivity.
