METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING POWDER OF THERMOPLASTIC ELASTOMER COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method by which powder of a thermoplastic elastomer composition having an average particle diameter of 500μm or less as converted in terms of a sphere can be manufactured without deteriorating the productivity by an underwater cut process. SOLUTION: This manufacturing method comprises the steps to manufacture the powder of the thermoplastic elastomer composition having an average particle diameter of 500μm or less as converted in terms of a sphere by the underwater cut process. The powder of the thermoplastic elastomer composition manufactured by this method meets the following conditions (a) to (c): (a) The temperature of the thermoplastic elastomer composition immediately before passing through a die is 120-220 deg.C.(b) The temperature of the die is 230-350 deg.C. (c) The hole diameter of the die is 0.36 mm or less.
