PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a pour-point depressant exhibiting a good pour-point depression capability at low temperatures. SOLUTION: The pour-point depressant comprises a (co)polymer essentially containing (meth)acrylate-derived constituting units, the (co)polymer having a weight average mol.wt. of 10,000-500,000, a solubility parameter of 8.7-9.4, a crystallization start temperature (by a differential scanning calorimeter) of -30 deg.C or higher, and a steric hindrance factor (F) of 16 or higher. |
