COATED METAL PLATE FOR LAMINATE PART SHOWING EXCELLENT WATER RESISTANT SEALABILITY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coated metal plate which gives good adhesion by being pressed and heated at a relatively low temperature for a short time and can produce a laminate part showing excellent water resistant sealability. SOLUTION: A surface or both surfaces of a metal plate are coated with an organic resin coating obtained by compounding two kinds of thermoplastic resins as major components, i.e., compounding 5 to 50 pts.wt. of a polyurethane resin with 100 pts.wt. of a specially modified polyolefin resin in such a manner that an amount of dry deposit is 1.0 to 10 g/m2 for one surface coating and the amount of dry deposit per one surface is 0.5 to 5.0 g/m2 for both surface coating. There may be compounded 2 to 10 pts.wt. of an epoxy resin of a thermosetting resin other than the two kinds of the thermoplastic resins with 100 pts.wt. of the specially modified polyolefin resin.
