PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slot machine for clearly informing a beginner of coming of a chance and facilitating stopping of selected patterns 2 during playing on the slot machine. SOLUTION: A stroboscope lamp 3 and a black lamp 3 are installed at positions allowing radiation to a part corresponding to the player side of drums 1 having the patterns 2 of the slot machine. The stroboscope lamp 3 is tuned to the patterns 2 of the drums 1 rotated by a motor 4, thereby directing as if the patterns 2 rotating in the front of the player stopped. An arbitrary pattern 2 of each drum 1 is coated with a coating reflecting only light of the stroboscope lamp 3, thereby directing as if a light different from that of the other patterns 2 is emitted.
