PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems when a deodorization filter is regenerated, the cost required for regeneration is high and the restoration of initial perfor mance is heretofore insufficient. SOLUTION: High-concentration gas which is the essential component of odors has high water solubility and therefore the filter made of a hygroscopic material regeneratable with cleaning with water alone and the general-purpose deodorization filter are combined.
