The present invention relates to a grill with a safety baffle for gas stoves of the kind comprising a support structure formed by two lateral parts, a frontal part and a rear part; and a plurality of support elements transversally situated on the upper part of the support structure, forming among them a support grill, said support grill being placed over a stove upper countertop that surrounds a series of burners for allowing the burners flame passage to the kitchen utensils which are placed over the grill for cooking food. Each support grill comprises in its frontal part a safety baffle for deflecting the heat originating in the frontal burner flame of the stove, such grills being placed over the stove countertop matching each of the safety baffles with the frontal edge of the countertop stove.
