摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass panel in which bonding performance of both sheet glasses using a metallic material is enhanced so that high level of airtightness and bondability is obtained. SOLUTION: This glass panel is obtained by disposing a pair of sheet glasses 1A and 1B facing each other mediated by a gap V and directly bonding the periphery of both the sheet glasses 1A and 1B by a metallic material 5 to seal the gap V airtight, where the bonding area 1Aa in the opposing surfaces of both the sheet glasses 1A and 1B has an average surface roughness less than 30 nm.
