PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frame body which is enhanced in air-tightness and water- tightness. SOLUTION: The frame body 3 is obtained by assembling combined frame members each consisting of a metallic outdoor-side frame member 15 and a resin indoor-side resin frame member 17 as a head, a sill, and jambs, into a rectangular frame. According to the frame body thus obtained, an auxiliary frame member 19 formed of a resin is interposed between the outdoor-side frame member 15 and the indoor-side frame member 17, and the auxiliary frame member 19 is comprised of a press-fitting member 43 which is formed of a soft-resin and press-fitted onto the outdoor-side frame member 15 from the internal peripheral side of the frame body 3 in a skeleton direction, whereby the auxiliary frame member 19 is screwed to the indoor-side frame member 17 or the outdoor-side frame member 15 from the skeleton side. Thus, by virtue of clamping by means of a screw 27, the auxiliary frame member 19 is drawn toward the skeleton side, to thereby press-fit the press-fitting member 43 of the auxiliary frame member 19 onto the outdoor-side frame member 15.
