SOLUTION: Opening parts on the head side 6 of a plurality of hollow parts 8, 8a, etc., piercing in a lengthwise direction and lined up parallel in a width direction are narrowed, and a tile body 2 is bent on the head side 6. Recessed parts 14, 14a, etc., are provided at the corner part of a tail side end face 13 on a tile body back face D. Even if rainwater infiltrates into a space between the hollow plain tile 1 and the roof backing S, the rainwater can be drained downward on the roof backing S from drain holes 18 formed by the recessed parts 14, 14a, etc., of the tail side end face 13 and the roof backing S.
