PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a thin material carrying device. SOLUTION: The thin material carrying device 9 comprises an upstream carrying means 3a and a downstream carrying means 3b that are provided with a rotating element pair nipping and carrying thin material and arranged in a carrying direction of the thin material; and elastically deformable supporting members 1, 21 supporting each one rotating element 4a, 4b of the rotating element pairs 4a, 4b, 5a, 5b of the upstream carrying means and the downstream carrying means, and press-contacting each one rotating element on the other each rotating element 5a, 5b by its own elastic force.
