PURPOSE: A remote control management system and a method for controlling the same are provided to efficiently carry out remote control management for terminals in a group configuring a LAN(Local Area Network). CONSTITUTION: If a manager selects and executes a remote control management program through a main PC(100), a network connection module in the main PC is activated. The network connection module executes network scanning(400). In response to it, the network connection module of a client PC(200a) acquires and stores information for the main PC and transmits a network response(410). The main PC and the client PC are networked by the network scanning and response between them(420). If a remote control command is received from the manager(430), the control part of the main PC calls a module for command execution(440). The called module calls a necessary client side's module and requests the client side to transmit data(450). In response to the data request, the client PC calls and executes a necessary program module(460) and transmits the requested data to the main PC(470). If the release of the network connection is selected by the manager, the main PC transmits a network connection release command to the client PC so that the network connection can be released automatically(480).
