PURPOSE: A bolt type load measuring apparatus is provided to allow the measuring apparatus to be installed in a convenient manner, while achieving improved accuracy of measured result. CONSTITUTION: A bolt type load measuring apparatus comprises a bolt type body(51) arranged to penetrate through an upper bracket(UB) as a first connection component and a lower bracket(LB) as a second connection component so as to couple the first and second connection components; a first protrusion(53) and a fourth protrusion(59) positioned in the portion of the bolt type body contacting the upper bracket in such a manner that the first and fourth protrusions are symmetric with each other so as to allow the force applied from the upper bracket acts on the first and fourth protrusions; a second protrusion(55) and a third protrusion(57) positioned in the portion of the bolt type body contacting the lower bracket in such a manner that the second and third protrusions are symmetric with each other so as to allow the force applied from the lower bracket acts on the second and third protrusions; and a transmitting force measuring unit(60) for measuring the size of transmitting force of a connection unit constituted by the upper and lower brackets, by measuring the bending moment acting to a predetermined portion of the bolt type body by the force acting to first to fourth protrusions.
