PURPOSE: A system and a method for utilizing small points are provided to buy a commodity or use various kinds of points being accumulated in accordance with a using result on the Internet. CONSTITUTION: A server checks whether a connected client through the Internet is a member. If the client is not a member, the server performs a member joining routine(S1). If the client is a member, a service screen including a participation service and a culture information service is displayed on a screen(S2). If the client selects a participation service(S3), participation services including investment participation and purchase participation are displayed on the screen(S4). If the client selects a predetermined participation service, a detailed screen of the selected participation is displayed and the client invests a predetermined point within one's point amount(S5). A common property made by the invested points is invested in a predetermined business, and a surplus value is created(S6). The surplus value is returned to the investor clients(S7).
